6th Grade & New Student Resources

We will have some days designated on the calendar called WIT days. This stands for Working Independently Time where you may work on items in other class that need to be finished. We will also have silent reading days built in to the calendar to help you with those reading goals as well.

You will be completing grade checks during RAMP time to make sure your adjustment to middle school is going smoothly. I will discuss things with you that you can do to help improve not only your organization, but your completion and understanding of the material in your classes.

You will be given some time throughout the year to create some personal goals for yourself and reflect on how you are doing. This will help you be more prepared for middle school and eventually in a couple years, high school.
