Thursday, May 19th - 8th Graders Only
Friday, May 20th - 6th & 7th Graders
*Please be sure your student brings their backpack and/or an extra bag to bring home EVERYTHING from their locker on this day.

What You Need to Know & How to Talk About Vaping

Several parents have requested more information about vaping.  Please check the information in this link!  The AMS 8th graders were able to Zoom with Dr. Keller last week and see what the results of vaping can lead to.

Staff Meeting - Office Closing Early - Wednesday, May 18
The AMS Office will close at 3:05 PM on Wednesday, May 18th for an all staff meeting.
 

Summer School
Summer School will run June 6 -23 at ACMS Monday thru Thursday for those who have signed up.

2022 AMS Yearbooks
There are a limited number of yearbooks available for sale on a “first come, first served” basis. Please send $35 check or cash with your student and see Mrs. Winegar for availability.

SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS
Summer Sports Camp information is now posted on the AMS website. Please check back periodically for updates on camps as more are added!

School Supply Fundraiser for AHS Booster Club
Families can order supplies through May 31st and are available for grades Pre-K (ages 4&5) to 8th.  Pick up will be on August 4th at Andover Middle School.

Moving Out of the District?
Are you planning on moving out of the district for the 2022-2023 school year? If so, please contact Jolene Rose, AMS Registrar. She can help you with the withdrawal procedure and get student records transferred to the new school.

Dress Code
Please review the dress code (found in the AMS Handbook which can be accessed on the AMS website) with your student.  We are at the end of the first nine weeks and it is expected that students understand and abide by the dress code.

Student IDs
Students are expected to have their ID with them at school every day.  If they have lost their ID, they can purchase a replacement for $5.00 in the office.
