Welcome to Mr. Hallmark’s website for

8^th Grade Science and Personal Finance.

Here’s just a little bit about myself.  This will be my second year teaching after graduating  with my BA in Middle Level Science Education from Wichita State.  I have lived in Kansas my entire life, grew up just down the road in Augusta.  After graduating high school, I began my university education at WSU.  During my time at WSU, I took a semester off and completed a working internship at the Walt Disney World Resort.  I am excited to bring a bit of the magic back to the classroom.

Just a couple notes about the year.  My plan period is 6^th  hour (12:27-1:12 in the afternoon).  The best method for contacting me is through email.  You can message me at hallmark@usd385.org.  I will reply to your message as quickly as I can.  On my website, you will see a brief version of the lesson plans for each day of the week, and all homework assignments, test and/or quiz dates, as well as project due dates will be listed.

This will also be my second year as a Science Olympiad coach.  For those involved interested, I co-coach the activity with Andrea Friend.  I will be overseeing the High School (Division C) students, and Mrs. Friend will oversee the Middle School (Division B) students.  We are excited to see what our students achieve this year to build onto our successful state run last year.
