I graduated from El Dorado High School in 2002. I served in the Army and completed two tours of duty in Iraq. I graduated from Kansas State University in 2013 and earned my master’s degree in Educational Administration from Emporia State University in 2020.

The 2020-2021 school year will be my third year at AMS and my seventh year teaching. I will be teaching 6th Grade Ancient World History and 7th Grade Kansas History/World Geography.
I taught Social Studies for four years in Oswego, Kansas. Along with teaching I was also a coach and the Athletic Director for Oswego Jr./Sr. High School.
I have been married to my wife Brittan for six years. We have a six year old son named Charlie and another little boy named Wilder that is two. We have a cat named Keiko and a beta fish named Garry.
I love to fish with my boys and spend time with my family. We love to go on family vacations and treasure our time together.
My WHY: I strive to maintain a happy and optimistic attitude while influencing those around me in a positive way.
