Personal Information:

My name is Amy Dieter and I am the 8th grade Interrelated and Resource teacher here at Andover Middle School. This is my third school year in the Andover School District and I couldn’t have been blessed any greater by becoming a Trojan.

I am an Andover High School graduate and attended Friends University while obtaining my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I’ve had amazing experiences working for school districts in Kansas and Texas over the last 15 years. I began and finished my classroom experience serving K-12 students with special needs. Somewhere in the middle of it all, I also taught 2nd and 5th grade general education as well as served in high school administration.

In addition to working with middle school students, I also serve 6-12th graders as a youth leader during SWITCH at my local church. Helping guide students to find their place in this world is a passion of mine and the reason I chose to enter the education field.

I have two beautiful daughters that bless me every day with immeasurable joy and growth. They are true miracles bestowed to me and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be their Momma. We enjoy playing outside and exploring on the farm. Music is our lifeline. There are not many moments where we aren’t singing, dancing, or making our own tunes.
