LATE WORK POLICY

An assignment is late if a student was in class when it was given and comes the following day without it. There will be a 10% deduction from the final mark for any assignment handed in late. All late work will be due a week before the end of the nine weeks. 

Some assignments such as “deadline” grades can NOT be turned in late, and students will NOT receive credit if they are turned in late.

If your student tells you they turned in an assignment, but it still shows up as a zero in Powerschool, please keep this in mind: grading current assignments is my priority, and late work will be graded next. However, in an attempt to keep you updated, I will enter the assignment as collected but late. When in doubt, don’t hesitate to email me for verification.  

ASSIGNMENT CORRECTIONS AND TEST RETAKE POLICIES

Corrections and test retakes are determined on an individual basis and must be advocated by the student. 

Permission to complete corrections or retake a test is at the discretion of the teacher. 

ABSENT WORK POLICY

For every day your child is absent, he/she will have two days to make up their work. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain missing work from the teacher.
