ANDOVER

I began teaching at Andover Middle School 10 years ago.  I was lucky enough to began my career here right out of Kansas State University.  I am currently teaching 6th and 8th grade Science.  I am also Andover's Middle School Science Department Leader.  Last year, I was choosen as Skype Master Teacher and Guide.  This year I was accepted as a Remind Connected Teacher. 

Mr. Friend and I have been married for 13 years.  We have two boys, Colin 6 and Jack is 8.  Colin will be in 1st grade and Jack in 3rd at Cottonwood Elementary.  At home, we have a bengal cat, Kitty, and a labrodane dog, Coal.  At school, we have tons of fish!

In my spare time I LOVE to read, spend time with my boys, and do pilates!
